This will be the third annual River Valley RADs Holiday Robotics tournament and the first as an RECF Achieve Event Partner. We are excited to see what teams come up with for robots under the new RECF Pinnacle game rules. The RADs are looking forward to seeing you in Springfield, VT.

7:00 a.m. - Volunteers and Event Partners Arrive
7:30 a.m. - Check-in and Pits Open, Concessions Open

8:15 a.m. - Solo Match Fields Open
8:30 a.m. - Qualifying Matches Begin
12:00 p.m. - ALL participants break for lunch

Judging format
All judging will be done in-person on the day of the event. Electronic engineering notebooks will NOT be accepted.

Travel information
Team and equipment drop-off will be done at the front doors to Springfield High School. Please use the first driveway when headed south on South Street, coming from Main Street. Parking will be in the lower parking lots located in front of the high school. Please do NOT park in or near the bus loop at the front of the high school. Volunteers will be available at the entrance, beginning at 7:15 to assist teams with unloading and parking.
Emergency information
The First Aid station will be located near the concessions stand in the Springfield High School cafeteria, located across the hall from the Springfield High School gym. This is where the team pits will be located as well.
In the case of severe weather, the Event Partner will make the call on cancellation by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18. Cancellation notifications will be made to head coaches and lead mentors via email and text.
Refund policy
If a team withdraws by Friday, December 4, a full refund less the $5 RECF administrative fee will be provided. If a team withdraws between December 4 and December 14, a 50% refund will be provided. No refund will be provided if a team withdraws after December 14.
If the event is cancelled by the Event Partner due to weather of unforeseen circumstances, a full refund less the $5 RECF administrative fee will be provided.
