Welcome to the RECF Engage Bluegrass Takeover! We are excited to welcome all registered elementary and middle school RECF Engage teams for a fun-filled day of robotics, teamwork, innovation, and competition. We look forward to seeing students showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and sportsmanship as they continue the 2026–2027 RECF Engage season together.

8:00 am- Doors open and teams can begin inspections

8:30- 10:30 am- Solo Matches

10:35- 12:00 am- Alliance Matches

12:00- 12:30 pm- Lunch Break

12:30- 2:30 pm- Alliance Matches

2:30-3:00 pm- Finals

3:00-3:30 pm- Awards

 

*Teams wishing to be interviewed for Judging should make time in their day between 9:00-12:00 and 12:30-2:30pm to visit the Judging room.

⚙️ Judging Format

Team Interviews: 

All interviews will be handled in-person with a team of judges and a RECF Certified Judge Advisor.

 

Engineering Notebooks:

All teams wishing to submit an engineering notebook must include a DIGITAL copy to be submitted. Digital notebook links are due on December 9th by 5:00pm ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.

💵 Refund Policy

If the event is cancelled by the Event Partner (Georgetown Robotics Club), a full refund will be returned to the registered teams (excluding the $5 fee allocated to the RECF). 

If a registered team cancels after the payment deadline, on December 4th, no refund will be issued.
