Judging format
Judging will start at 9am and end by 12pm to give judges time to deliberate.
During the event, each team will interview with the judges. Students should be prepared to discuss their drone design, programming, teamwork, problem-solving process, and lessons learned throughout the season. All team members are encouraged to participate and answer questions.
Teams must bring their competition notebook to the interview. If the notebook was created electronically, the team must print a copy and provide it to the judges.
- A digital notebook saved locally on a laptop or tablet (internet access should not be required)
- There are no scheduled interview times. Teams are encouraged to visit the judging area when they have sufficient time between matches and other competition activities
Travel information
A campus map showing designated parking areas, building entrances, competition spaces, and check-in locations will be shared with registered teams one week before the event.
Emergency information
For immediate assistance, contact the Event Partner, a staff member, or the registration desk. Call 911 for life-threatening emergencies.
Refund policy
Registration fees are nonrefundable for teams that do not attend the competition without notifying the event organizer in advance. Teams that are unable to participate must contact the event organizer as soon as possible before the event.
