Miami-Dade Make It Happen ADC

Welcome to Miami-Dade Make It Happen ADC for Middle and High School teams. This event will be held at South Miami Senior High School and we are looking to host a fun and educational event. The event will include dedicated alliance matches, solo matches and judging. Happy Flying!

Please complete the Participant Release Forms for all team members prior to attending the event.

0800 - Doors open

0815 - Team check in, inspections 

0900 - Flight team meeting and match schedule created  

Note: Teams not checked in by this time will not be included in the alliance/teamwork match schedule for the day.

0930 - Teamwork Matches, Autonomous Flight Mission and Judging Begin

1200 - Lunch

1230 - All matches and judging resume

1530 - Alliance/teamwork matches, solo autonomous flight matches, piloting matches and judging end

1545 - Alliance selections

1600 - Finals and awards

1700 - Schools depart to home station

Remote logbooks / In-person interviews:

This event will have remote logbooks and in-person interviews at the event. 

Logbooks are due by 10/18/2026 11:59PM by submission to this link. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will only cancel the event due to an emergency or bad weather. We will provide as close to a full refund as possible in this extremely unlikely event (certain event funds such as the RECF handling fee must be spent before the event occurs and those will not be refunded). 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid for the event, no refund will be given. Teams who do not pay by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist and potentially lose their spot. If special arrangements are made for a team to remain registered for the event after the payment deadline, teams will still be expected to pay in full regardless of whether or not that team attends as we will be unlikely to fill the spot on short notice.
