Welcome to Lisa Academy Rogers Areial Drone Tournament

    Parking at the event

     *   We will be at Lisa Rogers Bentonville Middle/High School. There is ample parking available around the school building.        

   Matches and Timing

     *   I’ve attached the Agenda below.  This schedule should allow for a good amount of matches per team if we can get teams checked in and inspected on time.

     *   Take the time to update firmware on the remote and the drone before you come to the event.

     *   Teams will get 3 rounds of Autonomous Skills ~ Have them think of a plan for attending all 3 rounds (they do not need to do all three at once)

     *   Team members should feel free to discuss with judges the timing of their next event and help plan an available time for the interview.

    Food

     *  We will not have a concession stand at our event. You are welcome to bring food and drinks for your team..

   Tips for the competition

     *   Have a good plan for charging your batteries. We will have some power strips dispersed in the pits.

     *   Portable Charging Banks tethered to your remote control will save you a lot of $$ on AA batteries

     *   Make sure your team knows their team number

Note: Teams not checked in by this time will not be included in the Teamwork Match schedule for the day

[10:00] - Teamwork Matches, Autonomous Flight Mission Matches and Judging Begin

[12:00] - Lunch

[12:45] - Teamwork Matches, Autonomous Flight Skills Mission Matches and Judging Resume

[1:30] - Teamwork Matches, Skills Missions Matches and Judging End

[1:45] - Alliance Selections

[2:30] - Teamwork Elimination Matches, Finals Matches and Awards

[4:30] - Event Ends

Agenda is subject to change and will be finalized closer to the event.

• Teams must submit the Competition Logbook by sending an email to mkont@lisaacademy.org with the link to their digital logbook or scanned copy of their physical logbook using the coach's RECFevents email address. The deadline for Logbooks to be uploaded is Monday, January 25, 2027 by 6pm local time.

•  To be considered for the Judged Awards (All Around Champion, Communication Mission, Airmanship) the notebook is a required component.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will only cancel the event due to an emergency or bad weather. We will provide as close to a full refund as possible in this extremely unlikely event (certain event funds such as the RECF handling fee must be spent before the event occurs and those will not be refunded). 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid for the event, no refund will be given. Teams who do not pay by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist and potentially lose their spot. If special arrangements are made for a team to remain registered for the event after the payment deadline, teams will still be expected to pay in full regardless of whether or not that team attends as we will be unlikely to fill the spot on short notice.
