Harmony Public Schools Houston North District Aerial Drone Fall

We are excited to host the Aerial Drone Competition again for the 2026–2027 school year! Building on last year’s success, this competition will bring students, coaches, volunteers, and families together for an engaging celebration of STEM learning.

Participating teams will apply their knowledge of drone technology, engineering, coding, and flight operations as they complete challenging competition missions. Through teamwork, strategic planning, problem-solving, and effective communication, students will demonstrate both their technical abilities and essential leadership skills.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and well-organized event where students can compete, learn from one another, and celebrate their accomplishments. We look forward to welcoming teams back for another exciting day of innovation, collaboration, and high-flying competition!

During the event, each team will interview with the judges. Students should be prepared to discuss their drone design, programming, teamwork, problem-solving process, and lessons learned throughout the season. All team members are encouraged to participate and answer questions.

Teams must bring their competition notebook to the interview. If the notebook was created electronically, the team must print a copy and provide it to the judges. Electronic devices or digital-only notebooks should not be presented in place of a printed notebook.
