Spartan Robotics Engage Tournament

This will be an Engage Tournament open to elementary and middle school level teams playing the 2026-27 game, Top Tier.   The event will take place on Saturday November 7th from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm with opportunities for teams helping with Friday night setup to do inspection and run solo matches Friday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm.   In person judging will take place on Saturday with physical notebooks handed in upon event checkin.  Although hosted by the St. Joseph School Spartan Robotics club, the event will take place in the Ole Olson gym of Rice Lake High School with setup for the event immeadiately following the Friday November 6th Achieve tournament.  Teams should enter through the W10 marked doors and park in this lot.  

Concessions will be available between 9:00 am to 2:30 pm during the event. 

Friday November 6th from 4:00-6:00 pm local teams will be asked to help setup for the Engage tournament directly following the Acheive tournament taking place on Friday.

Friday November 6th from 6:00-7:30 pm, local teams who helped setup will have the opportunity to do inspection and run solo matches.

Satruday November 7th:

7:45 am Doors Open

7:45-9:15 am  Inspection/Solo Matches/Judging

9:15 am:  Drivers Meeting/National Anthem

9:45 -12:00 am  Qualificaiton Matches/Judging/Solo Matches

12:00-12:45 pm  Lunch Break

12:45-2:30 pm  Qualification Matches/Juding/Solo Matches

2:45 pm-3:30 pm  Finals Matches

3:30 pm:  Awards Presentation/Event Cleanup for Local Teams

In person judging will take place.  Notebooks should be printed in and handed in upon checkin at the event in order to be eligible for notebook based judging awards.  Notebooks will be returned at the end of the event.  

This will be an in person event in the gym at Rice Lake High School (not St. Josesph School).   Teams should unload and enter through the W10 doors and park in this lot.

Coaches will be contacted if the event must be cancelled because of inclement weather.  Coaches should contact the EP Jeremy "Pete" Peterson with event questions.
