SC - ACTC Last Chance RECF Achieve Robotics Competition

Welcome to the 5th Annual ACTC LAST CHANCE RECF Robotics Competition!

We are excited to welcome teams, coaches, families, and volunteers to a robotics event that lets students put their engineering, programming, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to the test.

Whether you're a seasoned competition team or looking to gain valuable tournament experience, we want this to be an event where students can compete hard, learn something new, make connections, and have a great time!

Our goal is to provide a well-organized, competitive, and student-focused event where every team has the opportunity to have a great experience.

Before You Arrive

Coaches and teams should review all event information before the competition and come prepared with:

• A competition-ready robot
• Batteries and charging equipment
• Tools and spare parts
• Extra extension cords and surge protectors
• Means for purchasing lunch and/or snacks from concessions
• Required safety glasses and other equipment

Please arrive early enough to complete check-in and robot inspection before the competition begins.

8:45 AM - Opening Ceremony

9:00 AM - Qualification Matches Begin (Solo matches available through qualifications)

12:30 PM - Alliance Selection

1:00 PM - Tournament Bracket Begins

2:00 PM - Finals and Awards

In-Person Judging:

Team Interviews will be judged in person on the day of the event.

All notebook submissions will be digital and are due on Friday, February 12th.

Parking is available in the lot to the LEFT of the cafeteria. 

Student and equipment drop-off and pick-up are available in front of the cafeteria entrance. 

Please, no permanent parking in the car loop in front of the cafeteria entrance.  

If the weather makes you late for the event or prevents you from attending, please contact Travis Guthrie @ 864-940-5244 on the day of the event and by email before the event.

If the event is canceled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstance, it will be posted here on this event website.

Severe Weather: In the event of a severe weather warning, all participants will be directed to interior shelter areas of the school. Follow instructions from event staff and venue personnel.

Fire Evacuation: Exit through the nearest marked emergency exit. Do not use elevators. Assembly points are located in the parking areas outside of the cafeteria.
