DEFO Robotics Annual Tournament

Welcome to the 2026 5th Annual DEFO Robotics Tournament!

We invite you to attend our 5th Annual event held at Harvest Intermediate School in Deforest, WI, on December 5, 2026.

We expect the following behavior and ethical standards at all RECF sanctioned events:

       • Act with integrity, honesty, and reliability

       • Behave in a respectful and professional manner with event staff, volunteers, and fellow
          competitors

       • Exhibit maturity and class when dealing with difficult and stressful situations

       • Respect individual differences

       • Follow all rules as listed in the current game manual(s)

       • Student-centered teams with limited adult assistance

       • Safety as a top priority

       • Good sportsmanship, which includes supporting your alliance partners

 

Additionally, we invite any team who is willing to volunteer their time to sign up for a slot on this form. I would greatly appreciate any help.  Concessions will be sold and help us sustain our club, so please consider purchasing food items.  Fine Designs will be printing shirts onsite during the tournament, so please check out their booth in the gym.

Please bring your hard copy engineering design notebooks with you and leave them when checking in for the event day of. 

8:30 am: Doors Open
9:00 am: Registration and inspection begins
9:30 am: Check-in closes.
9:45 am: Inspection closes.
10:00 am: Driver's meeting
10:15 am: Teamwork challenge rounds begin
12-12:30 pm: Lunch break
12:30 pm-3:00 pm: Teamwork challenge rounds
3:30-4:15 pm: Finals matches and awards
4:15 pm: Breakdown. Volunteer help appreciated!

All judging is done in-person and we are asking that you submit a physical notebook the day of the event.

Parking on-site, including Charge point electric car chargers.  

We do not plan to cancel this event. Weather emergencies will be communicated to participants through coaches email. In the event of inclement weather, a delay will be looked at as the first option for continuing the event. If a delay will not make travel feasible, then the tournament will take place on Sunday, December 6.

Refunds will only be given if notice of cancellation is given 5 weeks in advance of tournament.
