General information

Welcome to the inaugural Derby City Drone Classic. 

Holy Spirit School is proud to host the first ADC event in Kentucky. 

All notebooks and documentation for judging will be submitted digitally. 

A team pizza order will be placed, pre-order required. Concessions will be for purchase.

7:30 AM - Doors Open

7:45 AM - Team Check in, Inspections Begin

8:00 AM - Piloting Mission Begins

9:00 AM - Flight Team Meeting and Match Schedule Created 

Note: Teams not checked in by this time will not be included in the Teamwork Match schedule for the day.

9:30 AM - Teamwork Matches, Autonomous Flight Mission and Judging Begin

12:00 PM - Lunch (team pizza order)

12:30 PM - All Matches and Judging Resume

3:00 PM - Teamwork Qualification Matches, Piloting and Autonomous Flight Matches and Judging End

3:15 PM - Alliance Selections

3:30 PM - Finals and Awards

4:00 PM - Event Ends

Judging will happen in peson with all notebooks and documentation submitted electronically in advance.

Travel information

We are located minutes off Interstate 64 in Louisville, KY. If teams need assistance in finding hotels please let us know and we will be happy to help find lodging. 

Emergency information

If weather or a local emergency causes us to cancel or adjust the schedule, all teams will be notified via email.

Refund policy

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be issued by the Event Partner minus RECF processing fees and credit card transaction fee (if applicable).

If a team withdraws or no-shows: Due to the costs associated with event planning, refunds will not be issued.
