Hello!
We invite you to join us for an RECF Aerial Drone Tournament open to Elementary, Middle, and High Schools in the West Coast Region. This event will take place at the CASLV Sandy Ridge Campus and is being hosted by the CASLV Windmill Drone Teams Coach. Outside food will not be allowed at the venue, as it is the agreement with the venue for them to have fundraising capabilities for allowing us to use their facilities. Cost of various food items and what is available will be listed closer to the event, but there will be an affordable lunch option (possibly multiple options) available. We greatly appreciate and respect your understanding of this, so that we are able to host additional tournaments with them in the future. Thank you!
Agenda
Plan is to have doors open at 7am, with check in and testing being from 7-8am. Tournament starting at 8am with 2 teamwork fields and 3 skills fields working until 12 noon. Lunch break from 12-1pm. Matches starting back up at 1pm-5pm for teamwork and 1-3pm for skills opportunities.
Judging format
Logbooks will need to be submitted in person (digital ones should be printed out and put together with clear team labeling). Interviews will be done by in person judging, judges will go to team tables to request interviews. All teams should make sure to have their logbooks, drones, laptops (for programming), replacement parts, goggles, long hair tied back, closed toed shoes, and a positive attitude.

Travel information
Parking will be available by the gym, at the front of the school, and some on street parking will also be available. Anyone from outside of the Clark County area looking for a hotel to stay in is encouraged to consider the Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino, as it is the lodging closest to the venue, but will still likely require driving to the venue.
Emergency information
Please note that in the event of an emergency, all precautions must be followed. Coaches are highly encouraged to be familiar with their student's medical needs and the ability to tend to those needs. Thank you for keeping this a safe environment for everyone!
Refund policy
Once a team has registered and the fee is paid, there will be no refunds (as there is a great cost associated with hosting a tournament and it is dependent on the number of teams participating). Thank you so much for your understanding!
