The Pinnacle Challenge is designed to provide students with a high-quality competitive experience that celebrates innovation, teamwork, and excellence in engineering. Whether your team is attending its first event of the season or competing for a championship qualification, our mission is to create an environment where every participant can learn, grow, and perform at their best. We are committed to delivering a professional, organized, and welcoming tournament that upholds the highest standards of RECF Robotics Competitions. Through fair play, strong sportsmanship, and a spirit of collaboration, we hope every team leaves with new knowledge, valuable experiences, meaningful connections, and a day of fun.

Robotics is about much more than building robots. It is about developing critical thinking skills, overcoming challenges, working together toward a common goal, and building confidence that extends far beyond the competition field. The lessons learned and friendships formed throughout the season often become lasting foundations for future success in education, careers, and life.  We encourage all teams to compete with integrity, support one another, and embrace every opportunity to learn. Most importantly, enjoy the experience and celebrate the incredible achievements that brought you here today.

Thank you to the students, coaches, mentors, volunteers, and families whose dedication and countless hours of effort make events like this possible. We are honored to host you and wish every team the very best throughout the competition.

Please complete Participant Release Forms for all team members before attending the event.

Travel information

Parking is free on the University of Central Florida campus on weekends. The best garage to use, within walking distance of the Engineering 2 Atrium, is Garage C. The doors on the front and back of the Engineering 2 building should be open, with the front near the center of campus and the back being the loading dock.

Emergency information

In an emergency requiring evacuation or shelter-in-place, official instructions from emergency responders and event staff take precedence over the published event schedule. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Refund policy

We will cancel the event only in an emergency or due to bad weather. In this case will provide as close to a full refund as possible in this extremely unlikely event. Certain event funds, such as the RECF handling fee, must be spent before the event occurs, and those will not be refunded. There will be no refunds for teams who register and do not show up.
