2027 ARMY JROTC 6TH BRIGADE CHAMPIONSHIP

Welcome to the 2027 ARMY JROTC 6TH BRIGADE CHAMPIONSHIP! 

Congratulations to all the teams that qualified. We are excited to be hosting the championship at STEINBRENNER HIGH SCHOOL.  We are looking forward to a great weekend filled with an electrifying Robotics Competition.

This is a by invitation only event.  Teams from 6th Brigade (Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Puerto Rico) will receive an invitation based on the teams Skills Rankings.   

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline of 2/5/2027 by 11:59pm.

All participants are expected to complete the Participant Release Form.  Once per season covers all events.

Logistics

Parking will be in the back of the high school highlighted by yellow. Venue is highlighted in red.

9:00 am - Doors open to everyone

9:00 am to 10:00 am – Team Check-in & Inspection

10:15 am – Drivers Meetings, Inspection/Check-in Closes

9:00am – Solo matches open all fields (must be inspected)

11:00am to 12:00pm – Qualification Matches Begin

12pm to 1pm  – Lunch Break

1:00pm to 4:00pm – Qualification Matches Continue

4:15pm – Alliance Selection

4:30 pm to 5:30pm - Elimination Matches

5:30 pm - Awards Ceremony

There will be two dedicated solo match fields that will be open all day once the drivers meeting has been completed. Once a team has checked in and passed inspection, they will be able to complete their solo matches runs. There will be solo match runs on all five fields from 9 AM to 10 AM. The solo match fields will close at the end of the last qualification match. We highly encourage teams to plan to complete solo matches early on, as lines can get busy.

Digital notebooks & in-person judging. 

•  In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will take place in-person the day of the event. 
•  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions: Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline of 11:59PM on 2/5/2027.
