General information

Pompano Beach High School is delighted to host RECF Achieve robot game: PINNACLE!

Check-in will be at 8:00 am when the doors open. Teams that have not checked in 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.

Judging format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. All electronic notebooks must be received before 21 December 2026.

In Person Team Interviews: Team judged interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Every team gets an interview! Prepare your team by looking over these: Sample Questions. All teams will be asked the same (3-5) questions for the initial interview. Interviews will last no more than 12 minutes giving every team equal access to the judges.

Parking will be in the parking lot behind the gym.

Emergency information

Coaches should ensure that they have emergency contact information for of their team members. In the event of an emergency, 911 will called to render the necessary assistance. POC if an emergency should arrive is MAJ Rodney Hankins at 954-804-7999. In the event of severe weather prior to the reporting time, a decision will be made on whether to proceed with the event and a text will be sent to all coaches.

Refund policy

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
A refund will be granted within three weeks before payment deadline and no refunds will be granted after that time.

All Payments are due by the payment deadline.

No payment will be accepted on the day of the tournament.
