Arizona State University Polytechnic - Pinnacle Qualifier 2

Rossum Rumblers Robotics is hosting the annual ASU Polytechnic Qualifier for the 2026-27 RECF Pinnacle season. This will be a sequel to our Nov 7th 2026 event. Teams are able to register for both events. 

The event will take place at the ASU Polytechnic Campus in the Sun Devil Fitness Complex. There will be signs directing parking for participants and audience members in Lot 16 (across from the SIM building) or Lot 10 (Student Union parking lot). Parking will be free for this event.

If you've never been to our campus before, we have lots of food options less than 5 min away. Alternatively, you can eat on campus in the Citrus Dining Hall or the Student Union.

9:30AM Qualification matches begin

3:10PM Alliance selection

3:30PM-5:00pm Elimination tournament and awards ceremony

*To participate in solo matches, the robot must have passed inspection.

Judging will be done in person, through the procedures outlined in the RECF Robotics Guide to Judging. Teams should prepare for their Team Interview and bring their Engineering Notebooks.

As we are in Arizona, it is extremely unlikely the event will be cancelled due to weather. If an emergency occurs, we will notify everyone registered that the tournament is cancelled.

All payment must be submitted by January 28th, 2027 (two days before the event). Failure to pay the event fee will result in your team being moved to the waitlist, while other teams will be allowed to take your place. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be distributed.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be available.
