E3RC Bots & Bolts Engage Event

Welcome to the Bots & Bolts REC Foundation Engage Event, hosted by the E3 Robotics Center!

This event is designed for elementary robotics teams to compete, learn, and connect with other students from across the region. Teams can expect a fun and welcoming competition experience that encourages teamwork, problem-solving, engineering, and good sportsmanship. New and experienced teams are welcome.

The competition fields, team check-in, and spectator seating will be located in the main gymnasium. Team pits will be located nearby in the cafeteria. And Judging in the nearby classrooms. 

Each registered team will receive a pit table with access to electrical power, making it easy to keep robot batteries, laptops, tablets, and other devices charged throughout the day. Teams should bring their own chargers, power strips, and any adapters needed for their equipment. Please label all team equipment with your team number or organization name.

Concessions will be available throughout the event. Teams will also have the opportunity to preorder lunch for students, coaches, and families. Lunch options, pricing, and ordering instructions will be provided to registered teams before the event. Outside food policies and information about available seating will also be shared in the event update.

A detailed schedule, including doors opening, team check-in, inspections, coaches’ meeting, qualification matches, skills opportunities, judging, finals, and awards, will be posted before the event. Teams should plan to remain at the venue through the conclusion of the awards ceremony.

Additional information about parking, building entrances, spectator admission, and event-day procedures will be emailed to registered coaches as the event approaches.
