Sagemont Prep Aerial Drone Competition Mission 2027: Fast Track

Welcome to Sagemont Preparatory Upper School!

We are excited to host the new Aerial Drone Competition (ADC) Challenge for Middle School and High School teams at the Goldman Athletic Center.

Our goal is to provide students with a fun, competitive, and educational experience where they can demonstrate their piloting, teamwork, communication, engineering, and problem-solving skills.

The event will include Alliance Matches, Solo Skills Matches, and Judging. Teams will have the opportunity to compete, collaborate, and showcase the skills they have developed throughout the season.

We look forward to welcoming all teams, coaches, families, judges, and volunteers to Sagemont Preparatory Upper School for an exciting day of competition.

0800-0830: Team Check-in

0830-0845: Equipment inspection, logbook inspection, team interview, Piloting Skills

0900: Opening Remarks-Flight Team Meeting - Match schedule distributed

0930 - 12:00:  Teamwork Mission, Piloting Skills Mission, Autonomous Flight Mission, and Communications

12:00 -12:45: Lunch and Questions

1:00 -  3:00: Alliance Selection and Elimination Matches

3:15 - 3:45:  Award Ceremony

Remote logbooks / In-person interviews:

This event will include remote competition notebooks and in-person interviews. 

Competition Notebooks are due by 10/07/2026 at 11:59 PM. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will cancel the event only in an emergency or due to bad weather. In this extremely unlikely event, we will provide as close to a full refund as possible (certain event funds, such as the RECF handling fee, must be spent before the event and will not be refunded). 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid for the event, no refund will be given. Teams who do not pay by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist and potentially lose their spot. If special arrangements allow a team to remain registered after the payment deadline, teams will still be expected to pay in full, whether or not they attend, as we are unlikely to fill the spot on short notice.
