Are you ready to test your piloting skills, master autonomous flight, and compete against the top drone teams in the region? Hosted by the Ripon High School JROTC, the 1st Annual Ripon CoDrone Competition is officially calling all high school innovators, coders, and flight enthusiasts!
Showcase Your Skills: Push your drone piloting and coding abilities to the limit in team challenges, skills missions, and airmanship tasks.
Earn Top Honors: Compete for catalog and custom awards, including All Around Champion, Teamwork Mission Champion, Coding Award, and Airmanship Award.
Lead the Way: Be part of the inaugural year of this event and set the standard for local high school drone competitions!

Tentative Schedule -
7:30 am: Team check-in and drone check-in and inspection
8:00 am: Skills field open for both Pilot and Autonomous Missions
10:00 am: Teamwork Alliance field open for round-robin matches
11:55 am: Pilot Missions closed
Noon: lunch
1:00 pm: Autonomous Mission and Teamwork Alliance field open
1:30 pm: Autonomous Mission closed
2:30 pm: Teamwork Alliance selection and Final Rounds begin
4:00 pm: Award Ceremony
Judging format
In-Person Interviews with Digital Notebooks: Only digital submissions of notebooks are accepted. The notebook submission deadline is midnight by Nov 6th, 2026. This pre-tournament deadline allows the judges to preview all the team notebooks prior to the day of the Tournament.
Team interviews will be conducted onsite during the competition on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Teams should arrive prepared to discuss their programming, flight strategy, teamwork, and lessons learned. Interview schedules and locations will be provided during event check-in.
