2nd BDE JROTC NYC/LI Aerial Drone Competition

General information

This is a closed league event, invitational only. This event will be only open to JROTC high school drone teams. There will be Pizza, Snacks and Soft Drink available for purchase at the event. Coolers and outside food are permitted. For those team who want to purchase pizza at the event, please contact the event organizer 1 week ahead for head count and pizza requirement.

Tentative schedule:

8:00 AM: Doors open and team inspections

8:15 AM: Pilot Meeting

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Qualification matches; Skills fields open (close 12:00 noon)

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break

1:00 - 3:00 PM: Qualification matches

3:15 PM: Alliance Selection

3:25 - 3:45 PM: Elimination matches

4:00 PM: Closing Ceremony and Awards

Hard copy of flight logbooks will be required at the competition. Interviews will be conducted in person.

Parking will be available in the school lot.

In case of inclement weather, event partner will communicate any changes to the event, including any rescheduled dates.

Refunds are not provided if a team chooses to "drop" an event. If a weather event occurs, a make up event will be scheduled. If the event cannot be rescheduled refunds will be given minus the $5 administrative fee.
