General information

This event is by invitation only and open to JROTC programs. If you are a JROTC program and did not get an invitation email, please contact host Carlos Montanez at cmontanez@turlock.k12.ca.us.

The drone competition is at the Fieldhouse (small gym) at Turlock high School. The Fieldhouse is right next (east of) to the  Louise Marchant Gym. Check in is at the "I" building just to the west of Louise Marchant Gym. Easiest parking access is in the lot on the corner of Colorado and Lyons on the west side of campus.

Meals are available for purchase at the event.

Agenda

8:00 am: Team check-in and drone check-in

9:00 am: Solo Match field open for both Pilot and Autonomous Missions

9:00 am: Teamwork Alliance field open for qualifying matches

11:30 am: Pilot Missions closed

Noon: lunch

12:30 pm: Autonomous Mission and Teamwork Alliance field open

1:30 pm: Autonomous Mission & Teamwork Alliance closed

2:00 pm: Teamwork Alliance selection and Final Rounds begin

3:00 pm: Award Ceremony

Judging format

Judges will be in adjacent rooms. Team must report to judges during competition times when the team is available. A sign up sheet for times will be posted. Only hard copy logs and notebooks will be accepted. If you have digital, please print and organize them in a binder/folder for this event.

Refund policy

Refunds will be provided if teams cancel before Oct 15, 2026.

If the event is cancelled, host will refund all fees. 

All refunds will be minus the $5 processing fee.
