Welcome to the Engage Elementary & Middle School Robotics Tournament at South Dade High School!

We are excited to welcome teams, students, coaches, families, and volunteers to our Engage Elementary & Middle School Robotics Tournament! We look forward to  celebrating the  creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and the incredible things students have accomplished to prepare for competition.

We look forward to seeing our young innovators bring their robots to life, share their ideas, learn from one another, and most importantly, have fun. Whether this is your first tournament or you are a seasoned competitor, we hope you leave inspired by the passion, perseverance, and sportsmanship demonstrated by all of the competing teams.

From Kendall / West Kendall

The typical drive from the Kendall/West Kendall area heads south via Krome Avenue (SW 177th Avenue). Continue south toward SW 288th Street, then head east toward SW 167th Avenue. Turn south onto SW 167th Avenue and continue to South Dade Senior High School. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street

From Miami / North Miami-Dade

Teams traveling from the Miami area can take Florida's Turnpike south toward Homestead. Exit in the Homestead area and follow SW 288th Street (Biscayne Drive) west toward SW 167th Avenue. Turn south onto SW 167th Avenue and continue to the school. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street

From Broward County

Teams coming from Broward County can take Florida's Turnpike south toward Miami and continue toward Homestead. Follow the Turnpike to the Homestead area, then use SW 288th Street toward SW 167th Avenue. Turn south onto SW 167th Avenue and continue to South Dade Senior High School. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street

From Palm Beach County

Teams traveling from Palm Beach County should take Florida's Turnpike south toward Homestead. Continue south through Miami-Dade County and follow the Turnpike toward the Homestead area. From there, take SW 288th Street toward SW 167th Avenue, then turn south onto SW 167th Avenue and continue to the school. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street

From Homestead / Florida City

Teams traveling locally from Homestead or Florida City can use US-1 or local roads to reach SW 288th Street, then travel west toward SW 167th Avenue. Turn south onto SW 167th Avenue and continue to the school. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street

Important for Tournament Day

Please allow extra travel time for tournament-day traffic, parking, and unloading equipment. When approaching the school, follow any robotics tournament signs and staff directions for team drop-off, equipment unloading, and parking. Please park in the parking lot on 282nd street
