General information

South High & Bancroft School are delighted to host a league for teams in the Worcester Area. This league is designed to bring together a group of students to build community across the season and provide more opportunities for students to compete.

The league ranking sessions will take place after school hours on Thursdays throughout the season. The first league ranking session is before Thanksgiving (11/19/26), the Second before the winter Holidays (12/17/26) AT BANCROFT SCHOOL, and the third is mid-January (1/14/27), with the Finals occurring on the evening of Friday, January 29th, right before South High's full day Tournament on January 30th. The timing and dates are flexible to help out teams who might have different constraints. Please contact Greg Jones at jonesg@worcesterschools.net with any questions, concerns, or needs!

All participating teams will be expected to help with setup and tear down. Adult coaches will be asked to volunteer to help the event run smoothly.

There will be limited space for spectators because matches, solo matches, and the pits will all be located in the school cafeteria.

Teams will have the opportunity to order pizza in advance through South High's usual pizza provider, or may arrange their own food. This will be coordinated in the week ahead of each league meet.

4:00 PM - Team Arrival, Inspection & Setup Begins (ALL TEAMS EXPECTED TO ASSIST WITH SETUP AS NEEDED)
5:00 PM - Ranking Matches Begin
6:30 PM - Solo Matches Open
7:00 PM - Clean-Up Begins (ALL TEAMS EXPECTED TO ASSIST WITH CLEAN UP AS NEEDED)
Teams may depart as soon as cleanup is completed!

Judging format

In-Person Judging with Digital Notebook Submission will take place at the Finals Session only.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link provided by the team. More information to come.

Travel information

Use the South High Main Entrance or Cafeteria doors to enter. There will be ample parking in the parking lot directly in front of the school!

Emergency information

In case of severe weather, the event partner will reach out to participating coaches to reschedule a session as needed.

If the venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, a partial refund will be issued. See Refund Policy section.

Refund policy

If the Event Partner cancels the event: If the venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within two months of the event date.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be made after Registration closes, if team withdraws from event prior to registration closing, full refund will be issued within two months of event date.

All refunds are minus the $5 RECF Administrative fee.
