Buena Vista Achieve Winter League

Hello Robotics Teams and Coaches,

We look forward to welcoming you to Buena Vista High School for our upcoming League event! Please report to Room 111, Industrial Robotics, when you arrive.

We can start as early as 4:00 PM, so please plan your arrival accordingly and have your teams ready to compete.

Please review these reminders with your team:

• The best door to enter is number 9 on the North Side of the building 
• Come prepared to be successful. Bring your robot, controllers, charged batteries, chargers, programming laptop, tools, spare parts, and any other supplies your team needs.
• Arrive ready to compete. Allow time to check in, set up, and prepare your robot before matches begin.
• Know your match schedule. Listen for announcements and report promptly to your assigned staging position with your robot and drive team.
• Coaches, please help keep the event rolling. Help your teams track their matches and get to staging on time. Ready teams minimize delays and keep the schedule moving.
• Keep equipment organized. Label your belongings, keep walkways clear, and ask permission before borrowing tools or supplies.
• Respect our classroom and equipment. Room 111 is an active learning space. Please leave classroom materials, computers, and other teams’ projects undisturbed.
• Show good sportsmanship. Treat competitors, coaches, referees, and volunteers respectfully. Follow event staff directions and bring questions forward calmly.
• Clean up before leaving. Collect your equipment, dispose of trash, and leave your team’s area ready for students to use again.

Our goal is a fun, organized event where every team has the opportunity to learn, compete, and succeed. Thank you for helping make that happen!
