Big Island Elementary RECF Engage League 2026-2027

Welcome to the 5th annual 2026-2027 Big Island Elementary RECF Engage League hosted by Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi - Kula Haʻahaʻa (Elementary)

The Big Island Elementary Vex IQ League would like to provide haumāna of Hawaiʻi Island the ability to build skills through friendly robotics competition and pilina.

There will be four dates for league play.

October 24, 2026 - Scrimmage/Meet & Greet @ KS Hawaiʻi

November 21, 2026 - Ranking Session #1 @ Keonepoko El.

January 13, 2027 - Ranking Session #2 @ KS Hawaiʻi

February 6, 2027 - Ranking Session #3 & FINALS @ KS Hawaiʻi

Finals on February 6, 2027.  Engineering Notebook due at check-in, & robot skills (3 Driver & 3 autonomous attempts)

All events will be held at the Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi Elementary Campus Hāʻaeamahi Dining Hall with the exception of November 21, 2026 Ranking Session, which will be held at Keonepoko Elementary.

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges at the time of check-in. If a team has created a digital engineering notebook throughout the season, a physical, printed, copy of the team's notebook is still required.

If the event partner cancels the event a full refund will be given.

Once payment is received, no refunds will be given for teams that withdraw or do not attend. Please be sure that your team is committed to participating in the 2026-2027 Big Island Elementary RECF Engage League before registering. 

Full payment is due by the first ranking session or unpaid teams may be dropped from the event.
