Welcome to WVUTech's Van Meter Gym and the Beckley, WV, Community. We look forward to seeing you on 1/22/26 for an exciting day of competition!
The best parking is across the street from the gym on Vale Street, down the hill, and this is a great option for buses.
You may also buy meals through the campus cafeteria in the Bear's Den.

Driver Meeting -- 9:00 am

Finals begin, solo driving field closes -- 2:30pm

Campus tours may be available over the course of the day. We are finalizing details now.
Judging format
Judging and interviews will be in person. Please bring printed copies of your Engineering Notebooks.

Travel information
Parking is challenging at Van Meter Gym, on Kanawha Street. Your best choice is to drop off at the gym and park across the street. Campus security will be aware that there are guests on campus. Also please save any parking spots close to the gym for our least able families that may need closer parking.

In case of severe weather, I will post notifications on this page for updates. As soon as I know, you will know and we will work with the university and our county superintendent regarding inclement weather actions. If schools are close in Raleigh County on 1/22/27, we will not be able to have our tournament.
