We welcome you to the Wings over Waterford Drone Competition taking place on Saturday, February 20, 2027 at Clark Lane Middle School. Doors will open at 8:00am and the event should be completed by 4:30pm.
This is a one day high/middle school combined qualifying drone tournament with a maximum capacity of 24 teams.

Judging format
This event will have ALL In-Person judging. Teams must bring physical copies of their logbook and submit it at team check-in. Team interviews may be scheduled. Team qualifying matches take precedence over interview times; a team can interview after the qualifying match is complete.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy: Teams will receive an email either the evening before the event or by 5am the morning of the event if the tournament is canceled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Refund policy
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be issued by the Event Partner & CTEEA minus REC Foundation processing fees:
$5.00 per team registration
If a team withdraws or no-shows: Due to the costs associated with event planning, refunds will not be issued.
