Otter Robotics Winter Showdown for RECF Engage

Welcome to the Lake Manatee K-8 Otters Robotic Winter Showdown for RECF Engage! This year's Robotics Competition will feature the Tier Takeover challenge. We are excited to host this tournament at Lake Manatee K-8 in Manatee County, Florida, and look forward to seeing the creativity, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and innovative robot designs that each team brings to the competition!

Families are welcome to attend and cheer on their teams, but only registered competitors and coaches will be permitted in the pit area.

Concessions will be available throughout the tournament.

Engineering Notebooks must be submitted digitally. Teams using paper notebooks will need to scan and upload them prior to the submission deadline.

All team members must have a completed ParticipantRelease Form before attending the event. This form only needs to be completed once per competition season.

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.  

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

• Full refund will be provided minus the $5 administration fee that RECF charges.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

• 100% refund (minus $5) for cancellations more than 30 days before the event.
• 50% refund for cancellations 15 to 30 days before the event.
• No refund for cancellations in the last two weeks before the event.
