General information

We are looking forward to a fun-filled day of competition at the Wisconsin Aerial Jam, bringing together Aerial Drone Competition teams from Wisconsin and the surrounding region!

Doors will open for team registration at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23. Teams should plan to arrive with enough time to check in, set up their pit area, and prepare for the start of competition.

The Wisconsin Aerial Jam will serve as a qualifying event, giving teams the opportunity to advance through the Aerial Drone Competition season.

Teams participating in judged awards will be required to bring a printed copy of their Engineering Notebook to the event. Digital notebook submissions will not be used for judging at the Wisconsin Aerial Jam. Teams should have their notebook ready to submit during event check-in.

Only registered team members, coaches/mentors, and event volunteers should be in the pit area during the competition. Spectators are encouraged to join us and watch the action from the designated viewing areas.

For safety and to keep the competition running smoothly, only team members actively competing, referees, and authorized event volunteers should be on the competition floor.

Parking and Event Entrance

Participants and spectators should park in the Carthage College South Lower Lot. From the parking lot, enter the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center through the west, parking lot level entrance. Once inside, follow posted event signage to the top-floor Field House, where registration and competition activities will take place.

We are excited to welcome everyone to Carthage College for another great day of teamwork, engineering, and drone competition!
